In site and on shop balancing
At Mass Power, we have expertise in balancing blowers, hammer mills, cooling towers, and many different rotors with proper analysis in the least time possible. The balancing procedure involves the addition and removal of weight at specific places on the rotor as suggested by the software and by doing so, vibrations are reduced to their standard limits. After completion of the process, a detailed ‘Vibration Analysis Report’ including observations, recommendations, and balancing procedure is provided by our expert engineers.
We follow ISO: 1940-1:2003 as a balancing standard for all rotating machinery at our workshop. We provide balancing services as per ISO standards in G1, G2.5, and G6.3 as per the job and customers’ requirements. We have the capacity to balance rotating machinery from 14 Meters in Length and up to 2 Meters in Diameter. We can balance rotors weighing from 50 Grams to 1Tonnes which makes us stand out in this field compared to other competitors.
OUR SERVICES
In site dynamic balancing
Imbalance in rotating machinery can lead to significant issues such as increased vibration, reduced lifespan of components, and decreased efficiency. Our in-site and on-shop balancing services help eliminate imbalance, improving overall performance and reliability.
Balancing is the process by which the mass distribution of a rotor is checked and, if necessary, adjusted to ensure that the residual unbalance or the vibrations of the journals/bearing supports and/or forces at the bearings are within specified limits. Many rotors are balanced in specially designed balancing facilities prior to installation into their bearings on site. However, if remedial work is carried out locally or a balancing machine is not available, it is becoming increasingly common to balance the rotor.
